For the latest installment our ongoing series about the 2022 High School Summer Program prefects, we meet Anne Berquist, a rising senior on the New England campus.

While this series has thus far focused on the prefects for the California High School Summer Program, we are excited to begin profiling the prefects for the program in New England, beginning with rising sophomore Stephen Brown.

“I realized on my program that, although you’re tucked away into the mountains and into small discussions, you discover in a new way that life is so much bigger than yourself.”

“I thought I knew a lot in high school, but the more time you spend here, the more you realize how little you know,” he laughs, adding, “and that’s really fun!”

Thomas comes from South Bend, Indiana, where his father teaches philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, but his family’s roots are intertwined with Thomas Aquinas College.
