In keeping with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ suggestion that churches offer Masses for the Holy Father before he resigns on February 28, the College will offer a Mass in behalf of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday, February 27, at 11:30 a.m.

Thomas Aquinas College mourns the passing of Mr. John W. Blewett, who died on Friday, February 8, after a protracted illness. An emeritus member of the Board of Governors, Mr. Blewett served as a vice president of the College for 18 years until his retirement in 1997. He is also the father of three Thomas Aquinas College alumni, Katharine (Masteller ’82), Margaret (Wall ’82), and Paul (’85); the father-in-law of Michael DeTar (’80); and the grandfather of Joseph DeTar (’11) and Mary Colette (’11), Michael (’13), and AnnaMaria Masteller (’16).
