The Muse sang last Saturday at Thomas Aquinas College, California, where members of the Class of 2027 threw their first dance as a class, repaying last semester’s warm welcomes from the other classes with festivities of their own. 

While their New England counterparts went on a pilgrimage to celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy, the students of Thomas Aquinas College, California, kept their observation closer to home.

Alleluia, alleluia, He is risen!

After choosing Shakespearean comedies for the last several years’ spring plays, the thespians of Thomas Aquinas College, California, opted for Greek tragedy this year, performing Euripides’ The Trojan Women Saturday night in a packed St. Cecilia Lecture & Concert Hall.

A wide range of area high school students — from those who have already committed to enrolling next year, to those perhaps only learning about Thomas Aquinas College for the first time — visited the California campus this past weekend for the Spring Open House.

Now that you have been introduced to the head prefects for the California High School Summer Programs, we are happy to begin presenting rest of the leadership team:

On Sunday, tutor Dr. Joseph Zepeda hosted the semesterly campus-wide “Schubertiade” for students to showcase their musical abilities at Thomas Aquinas College, California. A low-pressure, relaxed performance, the event draws out most of the student body, whose members take a break from their studies to enjoy the music. The tradition originates with Franz Schubert himself, who hosted friends and family at casual gatherings in his living room — “sharing music among friends,” as Mr. Zepeda described it.
