Claire Dragoo (’23)Here’s a good suggestion for attendees of this year’s High School Summer Program, courtesy of prefect Claire Dragoo (’23): “Ask the prefects why they love TAC.”

“God blesses every student in such a unique and personal way,” she reflects. “Every answer you get will be so be intriguing and beautiful.” Claire’s own answer is especially so. “There are so many opportunities to meet God and experience His love at TAC,” she says. “Sometimes it’s in a friendship or a reading that touches you personally. He’s everywhere to be found.”

A rising junior and Santa Paula native, Claire will be returning for her second Summer Program as a prefect. Before the Summer Program and afterward, she will be working on campus as a gardener as well as going on vacation with her family, including her twin sister, Jo, a fellow prefect.

Reflecting on her personal experience with the program, Claire recalls, “My favorite memories from last year’s Summer Program were the last few days. It was wonderful to sit around a fire in the evening with the girls I had grown to know and love while we played music and talked.” In considering the upcoming program, she says, “I cannot wait to meet the attendees. These two weeks are going to be incredible.”
