Among the cardinals being discussed as “papabili,” or possible successors to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, are six friends of Thomas Aquinas College. All six served as Commencement Speakers, and all have received the College’s highest honor, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Medallion.

The Thomas Aquinas College community offers its prayers in behalf of these and all the princes of the Church, that the Holy Spirit will guide their deliberations in the papal conclave, and that they will heed His promptings with faith and humility. We join them, as well as all the faithful, in eagerly awaiting the announcement of those joyous words, Habemus Papam!
