Thomas Aquinas College invites alumni, parents, benefactors, and other friends to walk and pray for the unborn at three major upcoming events:

National March for Life

Members of Thomas Aquinas College’s Washington, D.C., Board of Regents will lead a TAC contingent at the annual March for Life on Friday, January 19. Friends and alumni in the area are welcome to join the group as it prayerfully works its way through the streets of the nation’s capital.

The marchers plan to gather first at St. James Parish in Falls Church, Virginia, for Mass at 8:15 a.m., followed by breakfast at nearby Godfrey’s Bakery Cafe. At 12:00 p.m. they will meet again at the corner of 12th Street and Jefferson Drive, by the Smithsonian Metro stop and the rally stage. After the March, those who are interesrted will get together at The Dubliner DC Irish Pub

Look for the matching maroon snow hats and the black TAC banner! For more information, please contact Nathanael Cassidy or Caroline Guinee.

Walk for Life West Coast

The annual Walk for Life West Coast will take place on Saturday, January 20 in San Francisco, and once again, more than 200 Thomas Aquinas College, California, students will be there to lead the way. All alumni and friends of the College are invited to join them.

Admissions Director Jon Daly will be at the Info Faire starting at 11:00 a.m. and would be delighted to greet any friends who are there. Otherwise, please meet the TAC entourage at the Civic Center before the Walk gets under way at 12:30 p.m. You will find the students in matching gray sweatshirts this year, under a TAC banner, mostly likely at the front. If you have questions, please contact Jon Daly.

OneLife LA

A smaller group of TAC students who are unable to make the annual trip to San Francisco plan to walk for life in Downtown Los Angeles for One Life LA — the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ annual event to promote the beauty and dignity of all human life. If you would like to join them on Saturday, January 20, please contact Sophie Caldera.

Springfield Mass and March for Life

With the overturn of Roe v. Wade shifting the battle for human life to the state level, many members of the TAC-New England community will be advancing the cause locally this year. A good number expect to attend the Diocese of Springfield’s Mass and March for Life on Monday, January 22. At 10:00 a.m., the Most Rev. William D. Byrne will offer Mass for the Sanctity of Life at St. Michael's Cathedral in Springfield, followed by a march to City Hall for a short program, then a light lunch back at the Cathedral. If you care to join them, please email Caroline Guinee.

Let us pray together for all of our beloved unborn!
