That evening the College hosted a barbeque for freshmen and their families, after which the new students and their siblings enjoyed an ice-cream social outside St. Joseph Commons. Meanwhile, parents attended an orientation in St. Cecilia Hall, followed by a reception with members of the faculty in St. Gladys Plaza.
