Stepping down from her position as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (R-Arizona) recently took a moment to thank her legislative assistant, Thomas Aquinas College alumnus Justin Camp (CA’22), for his dedicated service.

“I thank Justin for his hard work and dedication to me, our team, and the constituents in Arizona,” said Rep. Lesko in her address to the House. “As I leave Congress, I have no doubt Justin will go on to do great things as he continues his public service.”

Mr. Camp joined Rep. Lesko’s staff as a legislative correspondent in early 2023, managing incoming and outgoing communications to her office. He worked his way up to the role of legislative assistant, where he oversaw the Congresswoman’s comprehensive legislative portfolio, which included matters such as education, religious freedom, and various social issues, while helping communicate her views on these topics to her constituents.

“I will be forever grateful that Congresswoman Lesko not only took a chance on me, but also gave me opportunities to learn, grow, and take on more responsibilities in her office,” says Mr. Camp. “I would not have gotten to this point in my life without the intellectual, spiritual, and cultural formation I received at TAC!”
