Meg Murphy ('22)Rising senior Meg Murphy (CA’22) is thrilled to return to work her third straight High School Summer Program on the New England campus. Some of her favorite moments from last year’s program include late-night games and snacks in the women’s residence hall and conversations with students from across the country. She still recalls one discussion at the lunch table with Chaplain Rev. Greg Markey and some students about Genesis and Creation. “It was so interesting and so powerful,” she reminisces.

Meg believes firmly that students should make the most of the opportunity to make friends and relax during the program, but she also encourages them to dive wholeheartedly into the studies. “The program is full of excitement and adventure, but I attend Thomas Aquinas College because I love what we do here, namely, learn!” she says. “I challenge all the programmers to give themselves to the readings and the classes and to really think about why I, as well as my fellow students here, love the curriculum so much.”

Until July 25, Meg plans to work restoring Catholic churches near her home in Cheshire, Connecticut. She looks forward to attending several weddings as well as spending lots of time with her family before returning to California for her final year at the College!
