A rising senior from Northern California’s Bay Area, Max Tittmann (’22) excitedly awaits his first time as a Summer Program prefect. “I can’t wait to give the attendees a taste of what TAC has to offer,” he says. “I remember when I went, I loved it. I met a great group of guys who are some of my best friends today.”

The best way to experience the program is “to stay involved,” Max advises. “Participate in as many games and activities as you can. That will let you see why TAC is so great.”

The highlight of Max’s summer — aside from the High School Program, of course — will be a family road trip to Utah to stay in a houseboat on Lake Powell and “hit as many national parks as we can.” He will also work on the California campus to help with some construction projects. “Thanks to work-study,” he says, “I’ve gained a lot of general construction experience through the Maintenance Crew.”

After he graduates from the College next spring, Max plans to join the U.S. Marine Corps as an officer. “This place has given me some great opportunities to grow, and it has equipped me with the skills I’ll need to lead others and be the best version of myself,” he reflects.

Semper fi, Max!
