On the eve of California Commencement 2024, Thomas Aquinas College President Paul J. O’Reilly hosted a late-afternoon reception for members of the Senior Class in St. Cecilia Hall. Afterward, the College Parents’ and Alumni Associations jointly hosted their annual Fish Taco Dinner for graduates and their families outside St. Joseph Commons.

The dinner marked an opportunity for the Alumni Association to welcome its newest members, the Class of 2024, and for parents to learn how their relationship with the College can continue through the Parents’ Association and its community of faith. It also included talks from Director of Alumni and Parent Relations Nathaniel Cassidy (’22), Alumni Association President Peter Colarelli (’92), and the Most Rev. Sławomir Szkredka, Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles, who would offer the next day’s Baccalaureate Mass of the Holy Spirit.

As a farewell gift, Dr. O’Reilly presented each family with a bound copy of its graduates’ Senior Thesis.
