Junior Joe Daly organized the student contingent, which made the 70-mile trip to L.A. along with Director of Admissions Jon Daly, Admissions Counselor Sarah Dufresne, and Resident Assistant Jeannette Richard. The group began in El Pueblo at La Placita Olvera, where it helped OneLife LA’s organizers form the front of the walk. During the ensuing one-mile trek, its members also assisted with maintaining order along the sides of the route. The walk concluded with a rally in Los Angeles State Historic Park, after which the group went to dinner at Philippe’s restaurant, home of the original French dip sandwich, near Union Station.

I am constantly convinced that what you are doing in Thomas Aquinas College is the answer for today’s ills.

– Rev. Wojciech Giertych, O.P.
