Between the stunning neoclassical architecture of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel and the hard work of its student grounds crew, Thomas Aquinas College, California, is rich in beauty. The campus has drawn visits from notable passersby, including two-time Oscar-winner, Sir Anthony Hopkins. Joining that legacy, a group of local artists recently dropped by to see the beauty for themselves.

Situated on the access road looping around campus, the artists arrived early in the morning. They set up their easels, filled their palettes, and set to work on individual projects, most focusing on the Chapel’s iconic steeple. Students taking a morning walk around campus enjoyed stopping to watch the masters at work — a quiet reminder that the place they call home during their four years is a gem hidden in the foothills that others are always happy to discover.
