The California Class of 2024 is on the verge of its finals week — and, thus, nearing the end of its time at Thomas Aquinas College. The sophomores and juniors have taken their turns hosting events for the Senior Class; this past Monday night, the freshmen took theirs with evening snacks and conversation in the St. Cecilia Hall Coffee Shop.

The space was packed from wall to wall with groups of students in earnest conversation, exchanging jokes and wisdom over chips and salsa, cookies, and more. Some groups set up outside to enjoy the night air as others were in the recreation room, playing games of ping-pong and pool.

“You don’t realize how good your friendships are until you get to the end and you’re leaving soon,” said David Ivory (’24). “I’m really grateful for the Freshman Class and this party they threw for us.”
