In assembling their latest college rankings, the editors of Forbes claim to have produced “the definitive guide for those looking for an excellent return on their college investment.” To that end, they compared data from 645 colleges and universities, evaluating them on the basis of six criteria: quality, net price, net debt, alumni earnings, timely graduation, and access for low-income students.

And by these measures, Forbes has named Thomas Aquinas College to the magazine’s list of America’s Best Value Colleges.

Less than 10 percent of American colleges and universities make Forbes’ selective list. Among the Catholic institutions included, Thomas Aquinas College ranks in the top five. The business magazine also lists the school as No. 45 among all colleges and universities in the Western United States.

“Coming after our recent, highly favorable ratings from the Princeton ReviewU.S. NewsUSA Today, and the The Newman Guide, The Forbes ranking is encouraging,” says Director of Admissions Jon Daly. “The magazine’s favorable assessment of the College’s ‘return on investment’ is more evidence that Catholic liberal education succeeds by any measure.”
