The New England Class of 2024 disrupted an otherwise peaceful lunch Wednesday in Gould Hall for the annual Senior Boast!

After their last final — theology, as is fitting — the seniors crowded into a corner of the dining room. Classmates Georgiana Egan and Luke Cecchi took turns counting down all that each class has thus far completed and what it still must undertake — the number of class hours, exams, Don Rags, and the culminating Senior Thesis. At last, when it came time for the seniors, members of the Class of 2024 announced that they had all completed 4,572 class hours, 44 finals, 11 papers … and one Senior Thesis!

Shortly thereafter, the seniors gathered by the Connecticut River to celebrate with a dive into the cold waters. Despite the muddy bottom and a lack of towels, the soon-to-be graduates laughed together as they celebrated the end of four years of hard work.
