Thomas Aquinas College extends its gratitude to all those who joined in praying the Novena for Religious Liberty on its behalf. On May 8, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit heard the federal government’s appeal of the College’s victory over the HHS Mandate. “Our Jones Day attorneys reported that the oral arguments in our HHS Mandate appeal went very well,” says President Michael F. McLean. “Apparently Noel Francisco of Jones Day did a very good job and had ready answers for all of the questions posed by the judges.” The oral arguments are available in the player above and for download via the U.S. District Court of Appeals.

Please keep the College in your prayers as the Court considers its ruling, as well as throughout the lengthy appeals process that is likely to follow the ruling, regardless of the outcome.
