Over at First Things, Pater Edmund Waldstein, O.Cist. (’06), has a thoughtful reflection about former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died last week.
A blessed trend in recent years is that alumni deacons — who, while studying in Rome in preparation for their priestly ordinations — have been asked to chant the Gospel at various papal liturgies. The latest graduate to be so honored is Frater Miguel (Gaspar’08) Batres, O.Praem.
