For the semester’s final installment of the St. Vincent de Paul Concert & Lecture Series, on Friday evening the Thomas Aquinas College Choir and Orchestra performed Vivaldi’s Gloria and a selection of Christmas carols. California students, faculty, staff, and their families arrived at the Fritz B. Burns Auditorium in St. Cecilia Hall in formal attire to savor these delights with due dignity.

The California Class of 2026 got together in St. Patrick’s Coffee Shop on the evening of November 8 for some well-earned relaxation — and ice cream!

A civil and canon lawyer — as well as a TAC dad — Michael Mazza recently visited Thomas Aquinas College, California, to discuss the importance of canon law and the growing opportunities for lay canon lawyers in the wider Church.

“This is not a formal concert, but music-making among friends — by friends, for friends,” said Tutor Dr. Joseph Zepeda, describing both the tradition of living-room concerts inaugurated by composer Franz Schubert and the semiannual tradition at Thomas Aquinas College that bears the composer’s name. Sunday’s performance in California’s St. Cecilia Hall may not have been a formal concert, but it was no less impressive, with senior Dillon Tuliau remarking that this was “one of the College’s best Schubertiades.”
