Throughout finals week on both campuses of Thomas Aquinas College, students have supplemented their academic preparation with various forms of spiritual preparation — including seeking the intercession of the College’s beloved patron, 

As the winter breeze grows and beckons the Christmas spirit to come, the students at Thomas Aquinas College are working their way through the last push of the semester: finals week. Whilst the freshmen have been busy studying Aristotle’s Categories, the juniors gather together, going through and memorizing Newton’s laws of motion, word by word. And as the sophomores dive deep into Ptolemaic astronomy and its complex planetary motions, the seniors roll up their sleeves and apply themselves to Maxwell’s theory of light and electromagnetism.

With the semester’s end drawing near, the Senior Class on both campuses commemorated the upcoming season with the College’s traditional Christmas dance — a festive event enjoyed not only by students, but faculty, staff, and their families as well!

Two alumnae authors are helping the faithful prepare their hearts to welcome the King of Kings at Christmas, reflecting on various aspects of the season of Advent.
