Posted: November 10, 2020

Construction continues apace on the California campus for the Pope St. John Paul II Athletic Center, which is due to be completed in time for the start of the 2021–22 academic year. In the above video, Vice President for Operations Mark Kretschmer offers an aerial tour of the construction site, detailing some of the features that the center will include, such as a waveless lap pool, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, new soccer and baseball fields, and climbing and bouldering walls housed with the building’s clock tower.

The College is deeply grateful to the Fritz B. Burns Foundation of Los Angeles, whose generous grant has made construction of the Pope St. John Paul II Athletic Center possible.

Thomas Esser (’18)

“It’s wonderful how, in the integrated curriculum, everything matches up. You’ll be reading one thing in language class, and then it will come up again in philosophy, and goes on to affect everything you read from then on. You get a deeper understanding of each discipline by seeing how they connect with the others.”

I am constantly convinced that what you are doing in Thomas Aquinas College is the answer for today’s ills.
