A semi-annual event, the Seminar is designed to allow all students to participate in a single, common activity, namely, reading, analyzing, and discussing a text that is not part of the College’s ordinary curriculum. The event began on the East Coast, where New England students, in sections led by two members of the teaching faculty, began the discussions of this semester’s text, On Loving God, by St. Bernard of Clairvaux. After the seminar students and faculty met up for a pizza party in Gould Hall.
