On the eve of Commencement 2017, Thomas Aquinas College President Michael F. McLean hosted a late-afternoon reception for members of the Senior Class and their parents at the Doheny Hacienda.

Afterward, the College Parents’ and Alumni Associations jointly hosted their third annual dinner for graduates and their families in St. Joseph Commons. Tlaquepaque, a popular local Mexican restaurant, served fresh tacos with all the fixings. The dinner marked an opportunity for the Alumni Association to welcome its newest members, the Class of 2017, and for parents to learn how their relationship with the College can continue through the Parents’ Association and its community of faith.

As a token of their gratitude, the Associations presented each family with a bound copy of its student’s senior thesis, a note from Dr. McLean, and several Thomas Aquinas College stickers and postcards. Senior Giorgio Navarini and his barbershop group showed their appreciation by performing several a cappella songs for their friends and families.
