In an effort to better know the College’s students and to foster friendships among them, Resident Assistant Sarah Dufresne (’14) hosted a pancake breakfast this past Saturday morning:

“The idea was to to take advantage of the Saturday morning, to try something new, something to bring the students together, with simplicity in mind,” says Miss Dufresne. The event began early in her residence in St. Monica Hall, where eight women joined her to prepare several hundred pancakes. The breakfast then followed outside, with as many as 100 students coming by for a relaxing start to the weekend, revisiting conversations from the previous night’s All-College Seminar, and looking forward to the week ahead.

The event was such a success, Miss Dufresne reports, that she is already planning for another pancake breakfast for this spring ...
