Members of the Thomas Aquinas College community gathered Sunday for a family picnic in honor of Lucinda Anderson, who has managed the College’s food services for the last 20 years.

At the end of the academic year, Mrs. Anderson retired as a general manager for Bon Appétit, the Palo Alto-based restaurant company that has operated the College’s kitchen and dining services since 1996. She will be succeeded by former Head Chef Jacob Coke, who, along with Bon Appétit, hosted Sunday’s picnic.

The festivities featured a performance from Mrs. Anderson’s Americana and Gospel band, Cheap Stride, whose members include her husband, Dion, College Business Manager Michael Collins, and Admissions Counselor Brigid McCarthy (’04). Rising senior Giorgio Navarini (’17) also contributed to the celebration by playing tunes on his accordion.

Farewell and thank you, Lucinda!
