Slideshow: California “Don Rags” Blood Drive 2020
On Tuesday, in between Don Rags sessions, students at Thomas Aquinas College, California, made their way to St. Augustine Hall for the semi-annual campus blood drive. United Blood Service set up a makeshift clinic in one of the classrooms, and donors dropped by throughout the day.
The medical technicians were grateful to the students for their donations, rewarding them with points that can be exchanged for t-shirts, movie tickets, or DVDs, plus the customary juice boxes and cookies. The blood drive takes place at the midpoint of each semester, during Don Rags week.
