This Lent, include the Stations of the Cross among your daily devotions. For the third year, Thomas Aquinas College is making available to all its friends the following, five-minute video. The video features “The Franciscan Way of the Cross” (text) as read by some of the College’s students and recent graduates, accompanied by the music of Chrysostomos, a student choir. It also portrays beautiful photography of the Via Dolorosa on the California campus’ lower drive —14 scenes that vividly depict Our Lord’s Passion and death.

Also known as the “Short Way of the Cross,” these reflections date back to the 16th century. Franciscan Friars have often used them, over the centuries, while preaching missions. (Note: The College also offers a a longer, photographic Stations of the Cross, complete with readings and prayers.)

Those who sign up will receive e-mailed prayer reminders each morning, Monday through Saturday, along with a daily list of intentions prepared by Head Chaplain Rev. Paul Raftery, O.P.

Please join us in prayer throughout this Lenten Season!

Isabella Hsu (’18) on integrated curriculum

“It is amazing to read all the different works from a wide range of disciplines, and see the same truth popping up again and again — whether it’s in Euclid, or theology, or natural science. It all comes together to form a full picture.”

I am constantly convinced that what you are doing in Thomas Aquinas College is the answer for today’s ills.
