One of the nation’s most trusted publishers of business forecasts and personal-finance advice, Kiplinger has ranked Thomas Aquinas College on its list of the Top 10 Best Values in Private Colleges Under $20K (net cost, including financial aid). It is the only Catholic institution to have made the list.  In addition, only those institutions already ranked among the Top 100 Best Values — based on academic excellence, freshman retention rate, graduation rate, and net cost — were eligible for this ranking.

“We are pleased to have been ranked so highly once again on the Kiplinger list,” says Thomas Aquinas College Director of Admissions Jon Daly. “The College has always maintained a policy that no student will be turned away on the basis of financial need.” Another prominent college guide, The Princeton Review, also named the College as one of only 10 schools nationwide to make its Financial Aid Honor Roll for receiving its highest possible financial aid rating.

“Our many benefactors have allowed us to bridge the gap between what our students and their families can pay and the actual cost of this education,” says President Michael F. McLean. “Because of their generosity, our students are able to avail themselves of the unique program of Catholic liberal education we offer; and they are not encumbered by crushing debt at graduation.”
