The College has recently received the following complete, albeit unpolished, videos of the Thomas Aquinas College Choir’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience this past spring:

The performance, which took place on April 13 under the direction of Daniel J. Grimm (’76), marked the final event of the 2017-2018 St. Vincent de Paul Lecture and Concert Series. The concert took place before a packed audience in the newly completed St. Cecilia Hall.

Starring in the operetta were Renata Zepeda (’21) as the young milkmaid Patience, who finds herself pursued by the lovesick Reginald Bunthorne (Dominic Amorose ’19). Other principal roles include Rachel Rivera (’19) as Lady Angela, Sylvia Zepeda (’20) as Lady Ella, Rebecca Montanaro (’19) as Lady Saphir, Marya Garneau (’21) as Lady Jane, Joe Daly (’19) as Archibald Grosvenor, Seamus O’Brien (’20) as The Colonel, Edward Mohun (’20) as The Duke, Robert Richard (’20) as The Major, and Sean Goodridge (’19) as a solicitor. Members of the choir filled out the rest of the roles, including the chorus, while student musicians made up the orchestra.
