College Begins Novena to St. Joseph
for Safety from Novel Coronavirus

Posted: March 11, 2020

On Wednesday morning Thomas Aquinas College’s chaplains began leading the community in praying the following Novena to St. Joseph for protection from the novel coronavirus. The novena will be recited at every Mass offered on campus, concluding on March 19, St. Joseph’s Feast Day.

Please join us in praying for the safety of the Thomas Aquinas College community, the health of those who are most vulnerable, and for all public-health officials who are working to contain COVID-19.

Novena to St. Joseph

St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, we entrust to you all our needs and intentions. We come to you and fervently commend ourselves to you, that you might assist us in obtaining all spiritual blessings, and keep us, our families, friends, and benefactors safe from the novel coronavirus and from all life-threatening diseases. Despise not our petitions, dear foster father of our Redeemer, but hear them in your kindness. Amen.
