Chrysostomos Takes to the Studio
This past weekend members of the student choral group Chrysostomos headed down to the aptly named Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, just outside of Hollywood, to produce a studio recording of their recent Palm Sunday Concert. The recording took place at Studio City Sound, the same site where the Carmelite Sisters of Alhambra have produced their recent CDs. Chrysostomos’ album — which will include hymns and motets reflecting on Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, His passion and death, and the Resurrection — will be completed within the next few months, in plenty of time for Lent and Easter 2013.
