Please pray for Teresa Johnston, the 13-year-old sister of Thomas Aquinas College junior Misha (’18), who is in critical condition and comatose after being struck by a falling tree on Friday. On a YouCaring page she has set up in support of her sister, Misha writes:

Late Friday afternoon (2/17) my little sister Teresa Johnston (13 yrs.) was on her way to walk the neighbor's dogs and a 60 ft. tree fell on her. She is in CCU and suffering from severe brain trauma. Currently, she is in an induced coma to limit brain activity. We don’t know the full extent of the damage. But there are multiple cranial facial fractures. The base of her ocular orbit is fractured with a possible damage to the optic nerve. There are fractures of her maxillary bone, her zygomatic arch, her mandible, her hard pallet, her clavicle, and possible compressions of her T6, T7, and T8. Also, there is intracranial bleeding in her right frontal lobe and right occipital lobe.

Please pray for Teresa, for her healing, for her comfort, and for the consolation of the Johnston family. For updates, please visit the Prayer Warriors for Teresa Johnston Facebook page.
