College to Host California Open House

Posted: February 12, 2019

On the morning of Saturday, March 2, Thomas Aquinas College will host an Open House at its California campus. The event is open to prospective students, parents, teachers, youth ministers, pastors, and anyone else who would like to learn more about the College’s unique program of Catholic liberal education.

“The day will include a tour of the campus, in which guests can see our new lecture and concert hall and view architectural plans for our forthcoming pool and athletic center, which will be under construction later this year,” says Admissions Director Jon Daly. “Guests will also have an opportunity to visit a Socratic-style class to learn about the Discussion Method, which the College uses in every class, and to participate in a Q&A session with admissions officers and teaching faculty.”

The morning will begin at 9:45 with coffee and donuts, followed by brief comments from President Michael F. McLean and Mr. Daly. After the campus tour and classroom demonstrations, the event will conclude around noon with complimentary sandwiches and refreshments on the St. Gladys Patio.

“This is a great way to learn about the College and to meet members of the community,” says Mr. Daly. “We encourage those who may be interested to come join us — and also to pass along this invitation to anyone whom they think it could benefit.”

Guests are asked to please RSVP online.
