The California Class of 2024 is on the verge of its finals week — and, thus, nearing the end of its time at Thomas Aquinas College.

On Sunday, the student chorale group Chrysostomos performed for the students and faculty of Thomas Aquinas College, California. The singers set up in the St. Bernardine of Siena Library in front of the main desk, making excellent use of the room’s acoustics. Directed by Anthony Santine (’25), the group featured music spanning five centuries, six countries, and four languages.

The California Class of 2024 completed two notable milestones Wednesday on its way to Commencement, first battling members of the teaching faculty in the annual Tutors v. Seniors Softball Game, then ceremoniously burning the drafts of their recently completed Senior Theses.

With the semester’s close coming near, farewells have been in order at Thomas Aquinas College, California. Last Saturday night, the Junior Class hosted a dinner on the academic quadrangle, followed by a dance in St. Cecilia Hall, for the soon-to-be-graduating seniors.

Wednesday night at TAC-California saw the return of a favorite campus tradition: Broadway Open Mic Night. Under the guidance of Steven Argo (’24), the event gave students an opportunity to showcase their talents in a fun, laid-back environment as they brought their favorite Broadway songs to life. The event took place in St. Cecilia Hall’s recreation room and attracted a packed audience.
