On Saturday morning the freshman and sophomore classes matched soccer teams in the championship game of this year’s interclass tournament. Sophomore Stephen Carey scored the only goal of the first half with an in-the-corner shot. Teammate Louis Knuffke then contributed a goal in the second half, after which the sophomores held on to maintain the 2-0 shutout.
Following the game the sophomores took a team picture, with each player holding two fingers in the air to celebrate the class’s second consecutive tournament win. Last year the then-freshmen ousted the outgoing seniors. Once again, the Class of 2016 reigns supreme!
