This past weekend members of the student choral group Chrysostomos headed down to the aptly named Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles, just outside of Hollywood, to produce a studio recording of their recent Palm Sunday Concert [1]. The recording took place at Studio City Sound, the same site where the Carmelite Sisters of Alhambra have produced their recent CDs. Chrysostomos’ album — which will include hymns and motets reflecting on Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, His passion and death, and the Resurrection — will be completed within the next few months, in plenty of time for Lent and Easter 2013.
