Although the College’s next building, the St. Cecilia Lecture and Concert Hall, is not due to open its doors until the fall, it has already hosted its first performance.

Student cellist Ingrid Beers (’20) recently played Bach’s “Cello Suite No. 1 in G” in the still under-construction facility, and alumnus Paul Lazenby (’10) caught the performance on video. The director of the College’s Annual Fund, Mr. Lazenby is, in his spare time, an amateur aerial photographer. He has included some of his breathtaking drone photography in this video, which he dedicates to the memory of Fritz B. Burns, whose charitable foundation awarded the $8.5 million grant that makes the construction of St. Cecilia Hall possible.
