Construction of the College’s new classroom building, St. Gladys Hall, is nearing completion. The classrooms are already furnished, and they will be ready in plenty of time for the start of the new academic year.

“St. Gladys Hall is complete except for a few minor items,” Vice President for Finance and Administration Peter L. DeLuca. “Yet to be installed are the blackboards in the classrooms and some additional crosspieces on the two trellises at the back of the building. Also, the fountain still needs to be tiled and completed. This work will begin next week.”

Meanwhile, the College is refinishing eight of the pews from the former chapel in St. Joseph Commons. The pews will line the building’s hallways, as they do the College’s first classroom building, St. Augustine Hall, directly across the academic quadrangle.
