With great anticipation, Thomas Aquinas College looks forward to the canonizations of Bl. John XXIII and Bl. John Paul II on Divine Mercy Sunday. Most students consider themselves to be members of the “John Paul II Generation,” and they have a great devotion to the late Holy Father. The slideshow below depicts the relationship between members of the College community and the soon-to-be saint:

To celebrate the canonizations, Head Chaplain Rev. Joseph Illo will host a party on Sunday, where students will eat Polish food, watch the ceremony, and assemble a montage of their favorite photos of Bl. John Paul II.

Meanwhile, in St. Bernardine of Siena Library, Librarian Viltis Jatulis has prepared for the occasion by displaying books by and about Bl. John Paul II, as well as the College’s collection of letters from various saints:
