Dr. John W. Neumayr, longtime tutor and one of the founders of Thomas Aquinas College, will undergo heart-valve replacement surgery on Thursday, September 10, at 8:00 a.m. Though his doctors are confident the procedure will go well, please pray that the surgery will be successful and that Dr. Neumayr will quickly be restored to his accustomed energy and vigor.

Dr. Neumayr’s wife, Bridget, is also very much in need of prayers. In the midst of her husband’s pre-operation tests and quarantine, Bridget was badly burned in her kitchen last Wednesday morning. She is being treated at Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital. Treatment likely will require at least three operations and may entail three to four weeks’ recovery in the hospital and at a rehabilitation center.

Dr. and Mrs. Neumayr have been essential to the life of Thomas Aquinas College. In your charity, please ask God for His special graces for them at this time of trial and suffering.
