Photos & Video: Soul Butter 2015

On one Sunday each spring, students, alumni, faculty, and staff of Thomas Aquinas College come together in Ojai’s Soule Park for “Soul Butter” — a concert that features “soulful” selections of a folk and bluegrass music. This year’s concert took place on April 19, and photos are available in the slideshow below, courtesy of Andrea Florez (’14):

Elisabeth (Drogin ’06) Grimm organized the first Soul Butter in 2007, and the event has taken place nearly every year since, with this year’s being the seventh to date. Organizers for Soul Butter 2015 were Steve Six (’06), Mary Rose Dovel (’16), Jasmine Natividad (’16), John Paul Funes (’17), and Therese Detar (’18).

Alumnus videographer André Fox (’05) has released two videos from the concert, which are available below. The first is Rosalie Simoneau (’17) singing, “Love is a Road” …

… and the second is Jack Grimm (’15), performing “Locomotive Soul.”
