A website dedicated to providing “students with a wide range of information regarding every aspect of college,” CollegeRank.net has placed Thomas Aquinas College at No. 7 on its list of The 50 Most Beautiful Campus Quads.

“A campus quadrangle (or quad) is essential to the college campus experience,” write the guide’s authors. “It is often considered the university’s face — the part of campus that defines the institution’s aesthetic and charm.” Thomas Aquinas College’s academic quadrangle, they continue, includes “what is referred to as the ‘crown jewel’ of chapels.” Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel is “a beautiful part of campus, and the sight is known to bring serenity.” Such high praise follows similar guides that have, in the past, listed the College among the Top 10 Most Beautiful College Campuses or Top 20 College Dorms.

“We are pleased that the beauty of our campus — particularly our quadrangle and Chapel — has received this recognition,” says Director of Admissions Jon Daly. “We strongly believe that when students are surrounded by beauty, they are best equipped to contemplate the true and the good, which are at the heart of our classical curriculum. This is why we, through the generosity of our many benefactors, invest in a beautiful campus: to support this one-of-a-kind academic program, which has itself received high praise from all the most reputable guides.”

Among the college guides to confer their highest rankings upon Thomas Aquinas College in recent months are The Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report, The Cardinal Newman Society, the National Catholic Register, Kiplinger’s, and The American Council of College Trustees and Alumni.
