Farewell, St. Patrick Hall

Farewell, St. Patrick Hall

Early in the morning of May 23, 2013, a truck towed away the last modular building on the academic quadrangle of Thomas Aquinas College — St. Patrick Hall — thereby making room for the College’s new classroom building, St. Gladys Hall.

Although simple and, at times, unbearably hot, St. Patrick’s was beloved by students and alumni, who warmly remember countless conversations about the great books held within its aluminum walls. Construction on St. Gladys Hall will begin this summer.

“Learning through the Socratic Method helps you not only to better remember what you have learned, but also how to think about it, and how to apply those truths to other areas.”
