As a service to its students, alumni, and friends, Thomas Aquinas College will offer live video streaming of Masses and services for Holy Week and Easter via its website. “Ever since we made the quick transition to online learning for our students, we have turned our IT efforts to livestreaming Masses from Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel,” says Dean John Goyette. “By God’s grace, we have secured the necessary equipment, and Dan Grimm (’76), choir director on our California campus, has graciously agreed to assemble a smaller (and socially distanced) version of the Thomas Aquinas College Choir to bless us with sacred music.”

The Masses will all be available at ThomasAquinas.edu/Mass or via the College’s YouTube Channel. Recorded videos will become available shortly after the conclusion of each observance.

Below is the schedule of Masses and services (all times Pacific Daylight Time):

  • April 5: Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord, 9:00 a.m.
  • April 9: Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7:30 p.m.
  • April 10: Friday of the Passion of the Lord, 3:00 p.m.
  • April 11: Easter Vigil of the Holy Night, 8:00 p.m.
  • April 12: Sunday of the Resurrection (Easter)
    • 7:15 a.m. Extraordinary Form
    • 9:00 a.m. Ordinary Form

“We are grateful to God, to Dan Grimm and the choir, and to all who have worked to make streaming from our Chapel possible,” says Dr. Goyette. “Even though circumstances compel us to remain physically separate, we look forward to worshipping together, as a community, during this most sacred time of the year.”
